DOFE Malta Training
Training for adults involved in the Award has always been high on the agenda due to the fact that capacity development is one of the factors for this programme to be a success. Training is aimed at individuals who are leaders involved in the process, implementation and run the award, and also act as faciltators to the young people.
The scope of training in the Award is to get more adults who are able to lead young people into this programme. Being an award holder is an asset yet any adult can join and the training can help an individual to get more familiar in order to publicise it, recruit more young people and enjoy the experience.
Training is provided for individuals who are involved at unit level, dealing directly with young people as leaders, instructors, assessors or supervisors; for persons in a managerial role, dealing with Unit leaders, organising and coordinating Award activity; and those in an executive role, as a member of the National Board dealing less with the Award and young people and more with policy and finance.
